Who is LaunchPoint for?
LaunchPoint is designed for Veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and adult children of military families who are curious about careers in tech. Whether you're brand new to coding or exploring your next move, LaunchPoint helps you take the first step with confidence.
Do I need previous experience ?
There’s no need to have any prior knowledge for courses. We'll teach you from the ground up and walk you through each concept step by step. You’ll learn by doing — writing real code in an interactive environment with instant feedback.
Is LaunchPoint a replacement for the full Code Platoon bootcamp?
LaunchPoint is a starting point, not a substitute. It’s meant to help you explore tech, build skills, and prepare for deeper training — like our full-time or evening/weekend software engineering bootcamp programs.
What happens after I complete the Intro to Coding course?
You’ll have a solid understanding of coding basics and a better idea of whether tech is the right fit. From there, you can apply to Code Platoon’s full program, continue learning as more courses are released, or simply use what you've learned to guide your next step.
